Floating Sculpture
Floating Sculptures is an interactive installation by Studio Weholo that was exhibited at VIENNA DESIGN WEEK 2020. The installation makes it possible to create a digital sculpture purely through movement. The virtual box represents the three-dimensional screen, which adapts to the position of the user and thus simulates the real perspective. Hand movements are translated into forms and the recipients become digital sculptors.

After forming the sculpture, a QR code is generated and printed with a thermal printer as a receipt. By scanning the code and opening the link, the sculpture gets displayed in Augmented Reality.
